Corbie Wake draws small, ordinary things and gives them back to you as something to carry.

About Corbie Wake

Corbie Wake draws ordinary things. A door left open. A pot kept running. Bread torn for six.

She started making art again after being diagnosed with a brain injury. Her love of folklore came from her Ukrainian family, from childhood evenings listening to stories about her babu and dedu. Her work tries to hold the feeling of being lost inside a tale, and to turn it into a small symbol a person can keep close when the world feels a little further from home.

Everything in the shop is drawn by her hand on a tablet. The stickers are designed one at a time.

Short bio: Corbie Wake is a folklore-inspired artist making hand-drawn stickers and art prints rooted in her Ukrainian family's stories.
